A common question goes something like this:
How do I make Komodo check out a copy of my project that's in Subversion, CVS, or Perforce?
The short answer is -- you don't. Komodo works on previously checked-out copies of SCC repositories. Given the differences in how various SCC systems handle the process of checking out files, it makes the most sense to do it this way.
That being said, you can use Komodo to add new files, to unlock files for edit, and to commit changes to files. You just can't use it to do the initial check-out.
