Vista / Xdebug issues resolved

I just resolved this bug with a workaround:

http://bugs.activestate.com/show_bug.cgi?id=65956

Essentially, if you are using Komodo IDE on Vista, please go get a new build of xdebug from here:

http://pecl4win.php.net/ext.php/php_xdebug.dll

The xdebug builds included in Komodo 4.2.1 and previous had a bug that caused a crash in PHP on Vista, and it seems that ,a href="http://xdebug.org/updates.php">recent changes in Xdebug have fixed this. We will of course ship updated builds of xdebug with the next release of Komodo.

As it happens, when I was testing this on Vista installed via bootcamp on my iMac I also finally googled up how to disable UAC and I must admit, using Vista without UAC is not all bad ( but I prefer OS X or Linux, thanks ).
