Update your extensions!

komodo ide blog hero

Komodo 4.3 Beta 2 is out and we’re closing in on the remaining list of blocker bugs before release. I’d like to put a call out to anyone that has created a Komodo Extension to please update your extension so that it will work with 4.3. We are not aware of any major API changes that should cause your code problems, so in most cases all you should need to do is update maxVersion in your install.rdf to at least 4.3.*.
As well, if you have previously posted your extension to the extensions forum, you should feel free to instead host your extension on the site:

( Community site login required )
Hosting your extension in this way has the main advantage that Komodo will automatically check for new versions of your extension, and offer your users upgrades as required.
