Last month I was lucky enough to meet with the some of the staff members of the OpenStack Foundation while they were here in Vancouver. This was their first trip here in the process of planning for the summer OpenStack Summit which will be happening a few blocks from the ActiveState headquarters here in Vancouver, B.C Canada.
It has been a few weeks since DevOps Days Vancouver 2013. The dust has finally settled after a great event and I have been playing catch-up on getting Stackato 3.0-beta out the door. The event went pretty much like clockwork, except for a few brief technical issues at the beginning.
It's finally happening! DevOps Days will be landing in Vancouver, BC later this year. This conference, which is now happening frequently around the globe, is THE conference for bridging the gap between developers and operations.
I was very honored to be invited to present a lighting talk at this week's CloudCamp Vancouver. CloudCamp's unconference phenomena landed in Vancouver this week at the Vancouver Convention Centre as part of the Microsoft's Tech Days Roadshow who sponsored the room and the coffee.
