Our Commitment to Open Source
We are firmly rooted and committed to the open source dynamic language communities as supporters and contributors. As seen in Ohloh rankings, our developers and strategic advisers consistently rank in the top 1-2% of all open source coders.
Our technical leaders are leading contributors to the core Perl, Python, and Tcl language distributions, and with this deep expertise, they provide technical support and best practices advice to our enterprise customers.
We continue to provide our Community Edition language distributions free to the community. Komodo Edit, built on the Mozilla framework, was open sourced in 2008. As one of the first ISVs to build tools on top of the Mozilla framework, we built and contributed back pyxpcom, the Python binding to the Mozilla XPCOM framework.
We have a mindset for growth and play an active role growing Perl, Python, and Tcl in the communities and in the enterprise.
We are open, honest, and respectful of the varying needs of the communities and businesses we serve.
We value working with others and work cooperatively as a team, with our customers and partners, and with the open source community.
We are passionate about learning to grow, expand our horizons, and innovate.
We are driven to make a difference in the communities we serve.
