Business Editions licenses are per language, per version, per server. For instance, if you need ActivePerl 5.10 and 5.18 (both considered legacy) and intend to use the software on 3 servers, this constitutes six instances; 5.10 on servers 1, 2, 3, and 5.18 on servers 1, 2, 3. Although non-production use is permitted for free using our latest Community Edition versions, use of legacy versions on both non-production and production machines requires Business Edition licensing. Depending on the number of installations you need, you may prefer a site license via Enterprise Edition. Please contact us for further clarification should you have any questions.

* AIX, HP-UX, and Solaris availability on Business Edition varies by language and version. Please contact us to see if you need Business Edition or Enterprise Edition.
