Perl Dev Kit (PDK) provides essential tools for building and deploying Perl applications.

PDK features cross-platform wrapping and application builders for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, HP-UX*, Solaris*, and AIX*, plus a suite of tools to speed development and improve code quality across teams. The comprehensive feature set includes PerlApp, PerlCtrl, PerlMSI, PerlNET, PerlSvc, PerlTray, Coverage Analyzer, Filter Builder, Graphical Debugger, PerlCritic and VBScript Converter.

PDK 9 supports ActivePerl 5.8, ActivePerl 5.10 and ActivePerl 5.12.

Deploy

Licensing

PDK includes versions of PerlApp, PerlCritic, Coverage Analyzer and Filter Builder for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, and Solaris. Windows developers can take advantage of additional features PerlSvc, PerlCtrl, PerlNET, PerlMSI, PerlTray, Graphical Debugger, and VBScript Converter. AIX users may take advantage of PerlApp, PerlCritic and Filter Builder.

Licenses are user-based, so a single license covers you across all the languages, platforms, and systems you use—at home, at work, or on your laptop at the coffee shop. And licenses include all point release updates (such as from Perl Dev Kit 8.0 to 8.1, 8.2, etc), so you're always up to date. Nice, huh? Read the license agreement for details.
