COVID Crisis: Together, we’ve got this.

COVID Crisis - letter from activestate

I recently wrote a letter to update our customers and suppliers on how we’re approaching the Covid-19 crisis: We’ve successfully transitioned to a new normal and it’s now business as usual.
After these essential updates though, I made a simple invitation to our customers and suppliers:
If you have a particular challenge (or opportunity) that you want to share with us, I encourage you to reach out. Together we can find a solution.
Businesses play a critical role at this time. We need to work together to manage our shared difficulties so that we can keep supporting our employees, our communities and society as a whole.

Dear Valued Customers:

I trust you, your family, colleagues, staff and company are staying well and healthy during this challenging time. As the CEO of ActiveState, I want to assure you that we have transitioned exclusively to 100% work-from-home and are fully equipped to continue supporting and servicing you. I am currently focusing on two mandates:

  1. Ensuring the health and safety of ActiveState’s employees, their families, and their immediate communities, and
  2. Collaboratively working with our customers and suppliers to find creative solutions to continue to work together so that collectively we minimize the harm to our employees, our businesses, and the local and global economies.
I have empowered the ActiveState team to proactively seek collaborative, win-win solutions with our customers and suppliers that help address any challenges that arise. If we do this together, we will minimize the job losses that society will face and ensure that all our employees and businesses will continue to thrive.

If you have a particular challenge (or opportunity) that you want to share with us, I encourage you to reach out. Together we can find a solution.

I fundamentally believe that humanity will get through this crisis, and although it will have a forever lasting impression on all of us, we will be better and stronger for it.

Stay healthy, stay safe.

Kind Regards,
ActiveState Software Inc.
