As PyCon 2011 winds down this week with code sprints and various BoFs, we'd like to give a shout out to the conference organizers for bringing together the Python Community and giving us the opportunity to connect!
It's countdown time! Less than a week remains until PyCon 2011 begins in Atlanta, Georgia--and we hope that you'll join us! It's going to be a great Python conference, jam packed with sessions. Some ActiveState highlights:
"As any programmer can tell you, programming will make you swear. But did you know that writing C++ will make you swear considerably more than PHP or Python?"
Along with the project improvements in Komodo 6.1 there's a big bonus for Django developers. We did a lot of work in this release to improve the editing experience for Django users.
The appeal of ActivePerl and ActivePython is obvious when you're running business applications in an exclusively Windows environment. There are other distributions of Perl and Python available for Windows, but none with a vendor like ActiveState backing them up.
Who doesn't love fresh bits? We've been working hard to bring you a Valentine's day treat. Today, we have a full set of new distributions for you to enjoy across the language spectrum.
