Student Verification Requirements

For high school, college and university students with valid student ID. Proof of current student status must be provided prior to purchase.

If possible, we also ask that you email us using your school email account.

Acceptable forms of student status verification are listed below:

• Student ID Card with a current date, or an expiry date
• Dated, current class schedule, with school stamp or on official school letterhead
• Letter from school on official school letterhead which confirms your current student status

Students and the ActiveState Education Partner Program

Your school may already be a part of the ActiveState Education Partner Program. This partnership provides free access to our software for all coursework and while you are on campus. It also allows full time students to purchase our development tools at a discounted student rate, for off-site or use outside of school.

To verify that your school is part of the ActiveState Education Partner Program, please see our list of ActiveState Education Partners and contact your school's Computer Science or IT Department. You may also email us directly if you wish for us to verify whether or not your school is part of the Education Partner Program.
